This class teaches individuals the critical skills needed to identify and defend against increasingly sophisticated financial scams. Participants will learn to recognize "red flag" behaviors, such as artificial urgency and requests for unconventional payment methods. By the end of the class, participants will have a personal protection protocol and a list of verified resources for reporting and recovering from identity theft. This class is ideal for retirees but teaches skills and strategies applicable to all adult-age groups.
