EMS4100

This is an entry-level course for state certification and covers all techniques of emergency medical care presently considered within the scope of the Emergency Medical Responder. This course features lecture, video, simulated emergency situations, discussion, and hands-on skill practice. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the NC OEMS credentialing examination for Emergency Medical Responder. ***** Enrollment & Eligibility Requirements: Students must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) or successful completion of an exam assessing reading comprehension and English language skills at 10th grade level or higher. Students must be at least 17 years old prior to the end of the class.
