Along the way, you'll gain tips for preserving and cooking with local ingredients, as well as insights into the health benefits of eating seasonally. A focus on recipe and meal preparation methods ensures you leave with the knowledge and confidence to recreate these meals at home. Participants will also receive a collection of recipes learned and shared throughout the course, making this a flavorful and inspiring way to connect with your food, your community, and the season. ***** Required Materials and Supplies: Two pairs of closed-toed shoes are required for this class. One pair will be worn during the farm portion for basic personal protection while working outdoors. The second pair must be clean, dirt- and mud-free, and reserved for the kitchen portion to maintain food safety standards.
