Course Description
The CCCC Natural Chef culinary program and the Student Organic Farm team up for this six session course on learning to harvest, prepare and eat locally and in season. This course is designed for chefs, farmers and those who work in the local food system (eaters, all). Meet the Farmer and the Chef to improve your understanding of what is in season and exciting ways to prepare it. Participants will spend time at the farm and in the kitchen. ***** Required Materials/Supplies: Participants should expect to be outdoors for the first half of the class and should dress accordingly. A separate pair of shoes will be required for the second half of class, which takes place in the kitchen.
