Objectives
• Execute safe driving practices using visual observations; managing and adjusting vehicle speed, distances, and separation in various terrain and highway conditions; identifying potential driving hazards; and performing defensive and evasive actions.
• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections on a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV)
• Shift all gears of multi-speed, dual-range manual transmission and or operate a Auto-Shift transmission
• Backing - Straight Line Backing, Alley Dock Backing (45/90 Degree), Off-Set Backing (Right/Left), Parallel Parking Blind Side, Parallel Parking Sight Side
• DOT Rules and regulations
• Coupling/Uncoupling - Coupling Combination Tractor/Trailer, Uncoupling Combination Tractor/Trailer
